OK update for today -- no call from the company's HR person. So I called the hiring mgr at 6 pm / 3 pm PST. Caught him driving so had to keep it short. I apparently need to have an interview w/ his manager but that guy left on vacation today until the end of the week (FUG.. shoulda called earlier...) But otherwise he's having one of his tech guys call hopefully tomorrow to set up a time for a tech -oriented interview. Thanks to my friend, I was able to get an idea of the types of questions they will ask. So, needless to say, I'm studying like a fiend tonite & tomorrow.

Also had it verified w/ my realtor that my prospective buyer can't afford my house, so no offer was made. Shit. back to square one & another open house this weekend.

I opted to go to Barnes & Noble & buy a book on databases instead of go to the gym.
