Sassy, Bunny, Shadow..... Get in here need advice!!!

Okay Guys.... over the past 2 years I feel as if I have learned to listen to my body. As you know my trainer has been giving me these streaks of low-no carb days....which have been mentally & physically challenging but it works!! Anyhow I decided my 1 week of moderate carb up had filled me out and it was time to decarb for another 9 days... so I started yesterday, did a fantastic job....

Well yesterday I my 1 hour of cardio spent the day running around doing errands didnt make it back to the gym but I went out last night and danced my a$$ off!!!! Pretty sure I utilized many calories anyhow had my meals w/ me in my car grilled chick & almonds, well it was time for my second meal of the day 6 whites & 1 oz of peanuts and I decided that I felt a bit lithargic and that it was okay to have 1/4 cup of oatmeal which is about 10 carbs.... still under that 50gram mark well guess what I did??? I went in the pantry and ate half a cereal box probably 2 cups worth of my mom's healthy cereal which consists of corn flakes, dried cranberries & almonds!!!! SHIT!!!!! I ate 2 cups worth which is about 450 calories ( NO MILK JUST DRY) !!!!! But this is weird I am not worried about it!!! Actually after I ate and looked in the mirror my abs starting popping out and the vein that runs from my shoulder down to my forearm started popping out!!! I feel ridiculously full....but I am 4 wks out!!!! Should I worry??? Will I look like shit tomorrow??? Is it okay that I did this at 11:00am in the morning?? And btw I cant even hit the gym today, I am going to a wedding, otherwise I would be running my 5.3 mile trail twice!!!!...lol...

Guys, I trust your opinion the most, should I fret over any of this?? BTW I plan on eating chicken & almonds all day today!!! since I already took in about hhhmmm 90 grams of carbs.. :chomp: :worried: :chomp:

But do you think this will serve as a nice shock to the body??? Should I be concerned????

Need your opinion guys!! Btw this never happened to me last year when I was getting ready, I was so strict w/ the diet and didnt even use condiments on my chick & veggies....

Honestly:

1 - nothing can be done at this point

2 - add a little extra cario if you are concerned(Im not)

3 - it wont happen again


...dont worry about it......just remember that any damage form the cals were negated by the extra cario
 
I'm not Sassy, Bunny or Shadow, but I do know that eating 90g of carbs 4 weeks out from a show will not cause any fat gain. No need to worry, just don't do it again.

Ish ... I agree with S & also, just another example of HOW your body may react to such a carb up ... *take notes* ...

Oh & FYI, Your sig is so cute, but I must have you credit the EF board & Shadow with the "STFU & Train" - (Bunny passing on the good word of EF) or somethin' :) ... that's where I learn'd it .. spread the word ... and remember...

Same comment - 1 day in the scope of 30 days can be accommodated. IT defimitely is giving you a idea of what your body will do on the carb up during Peak Week. But now stay focused. At this point you are only eating to FUEL - not accommodate any food cravings so (I don't need to tell u that ;) )

Sounds like its been handled & you are back on track :)
 
Hey Guys thank you so much for your comments so let me give you an update as to what happened!!! I looked and still do look freaking amazing, I think my body was dieted down for so long that the small splurge on cereal boosted my metabolism and filled me out!!!! Today I began to reduce the carb intake and I trained w/ my trainer I told him what I did and he said I looked amazing and probably just needed to listen to my body. I do a lot of cardio and this weekend I went out Friday, Sat, & Sunday night and danced the night away!!! I think my body needed to replenish!!! I can not believe how much calories you can burn dancing for 2-3 hours!!!

Anyhow, back on track and mentally stable that is until my low carb eating hits me smack in the face again...

Sounds very good -- 2-3 hrs of dancing??? Come on girl! 6 hrs/nite AND THEN off to the after hours club until 10 am! ;)
 
lol@listen to your body....if that were the case - no one would do legs
