Reverse band press carry over

We train boards with green bands suspended. I have done 725 off a 4 brd. But without a shirt and using blue bands i believe i did 635 loaded. Can definitly do more , but onnly did them once and i remeber having shoulder pain still. Buyt i believe with the right shirt you shouold be able to simulkate your bench shirt with blue bands. Or dam close to it. My shirt is tighter then green bands give. So to answer your question it varies with your lockout power and the tightness of your shirt.

so lets see. with blue bands, i should be able to hit around 225-230... so i need to go out and order a shirt that takes about 4 people to pull down... i wish USAPL allowed opened backs

Yes, to your questions, K1401. We also do these with and without shirts. Shirts + Bands + Boards = Good Times. The only thing that would make the equation better would be to throw in a case of beer. :D

I'm going to give them a shot tomorrow for ME day, for the first one, should I go without boards, or with them?

Case of beer sounds good, since I lift at 5 am it would be a nice breakfast, but I don't think my boss would like it;)

Put the bands on first, do some warmups, then go to boards, work up 20 to 50 lbs per set depending upon your strength level, and throw on the shirt when you feel the need.

Deceiver,

The last time I wore a poly, I weighed 215 lbs, and it was the same shirt that Ricky Crain had fitted me for when I weighed 165, and it was tight at 165. How is that for tight? It took more then 600 lbs of men to put that shirt on me. A ton of baby powder, and 15 minutes. But I got over 50 lbs out of that shirt, and that was a 38 dollar shirt.
