I am getting to where I almost dread Christmas because I have no idea what to get my son that seems to have everything. I need some ideas please! I have bought him the games he wants for his ps2 (and no PS3 is out of the question) and I have gotten him a wicked rail for skateboarding. My only other idea is a cheesy gift card at local skate shop only because I wouldn't have a clue on what board, wheels and trunks (?) he would want. I am lost. He hasn't been much help either. That is a damn shame that kids have so much that they can't even tell you what they want!!! :worried:

I think boys are so much easier to shop for, cause I just buy em what I want. Girls much trickier.
Are there any gadgets he wants/needs for the ps2? How about a mp3 player? Gift cards are always good though.

I really try and I have gotten to where xmas stresses me out. I  getting him things that will make him light up and it is getting harder and harder to do.

LOL. It's trucks for the board. It's great he's into skating and that you're getting him geared up for it. So much better than being inside.

Everything's so expensive now. I'd say an ipod, or something. Is there a skate park near you? When I was a kid, I always had to skate at places that weren't really set up that well. We'd have to find loading docs, or stairs that weren't too busy, or build ramps that sucked. You could get him a pass to a skate park so he has good terrain to ride on.

I dunno.

I did put trucks first and changed it! lol I try to keep up with these things and no we have no skate parks around here which surprises me since all the boys I know are really into it big time! So no one thinks getting your son a gift card is cheesy?
and just giving him cash seems so impersonal IMO.

i've been talking to him for a while now and he really has his heart set on me being his step dad!!

don't let him down!
