PW Food Choice - whole foods

i thought we were talking pre workout my bad. i go with yogurt and granola with strawberries and melon. i drink another red gatorade and when i get in the casa i warm up chicken or steak that i have cooked previously and eat that. i haven't used whey in a long time and i am doing well
 
Not that you are going to listen but heres what I do.

If I have a shake 40g whey 80g dextrose
then following that about an hour later 4oz sweet potato 4 rice cakes, 2tblspn natty pb and 8oz chicken

If I DONT have a shake
2 cups of white rice
8oz of chicken or egg whites
 
cereal is my thing now, but it's gettn cold...I may have to go back to the cooked white rice or hot ass creamery rice with pb whey......soooo goood. Even cold.

Careful with the apple juice. Too much and you might spend a half an hour or so, sitting in the john.

Maybe it's just me, but I get awful diarrhea when I over do the apple juice.

not sure what creamery rice is but if your not opposed to cereal, dont know what kind you are eating but im guessing that it has a fair amount of sucrose (glucose + fructose) in it. If you are not opposed to sucrose pwo then why not grab some angel food cake. all it is is sucrose and egg whites

Apple juice is still supplying you with fructose....

Much better with dextrose or maltodextrin.
 
I disagree with fructose pw, but that's just me.....I also hate the feeling of dex and malt.....since I train later in the evening, I have all my carb meals pretraining, then my final carb meal is with 20minutes of training....usually 50g whey, with 60-70 fast acting carbs and I always mix match........usually its a few cups of cold cereal, like oats, or whole wheat chex, etc....using the shake as my milk.........I used cold creamry rice, not bad.......I am now about to go with 1 cup basamati white rice and whipped sweet tators....since it's gettn cold oot......final two meals are protein, fats and fiberous veggies.
