mmm
this is messed up.. maybe its not from the protein
cos it is whey.. says so on the package
but now im clueless on what it could be

There's tons of things that can act as hormones. about twenty different plant products, including things like basil and wild yam, can have gyno-type phytohormonal properties. I've never heard of protein of any type doing it, though. Alcohol and obesity, yes. Protein no.

uh oh

flubberboy you're scaring me now. I've been noticing some tenderness but was too lazy to go check it out (the doc is a 10 minute walk from my office. That's really lazy  )
I figured it was because of my first ever flu shot. But I also started a new protein powder (precision whey) a few weeks earlier.... the major protein types take more time than I care to write.
i'll have to check this out tomorrow. It's only in one nipple. If I'm getting gyno Iwant my tits even, dammit!!

I'd like to know where you doctor got his degree. One breast is growing and his diagnosis is, "it's something you're taking orally"? I agree with Cure and the other guys, go see a sports doc.

well ive been off the protein power for 3 weeks and its still there, slightly bigger, and i think its beginning in my other breast.. so all i gotta say is FFFFUUUUCCCCKKKK
its not that noticeable, but if it keeps getting bigger its gonna look fucked
is this common? (im 18).. is it just some natural thing that will go away??
anyone know???

It's getting worse you say and you stopped using the whey? The problem, then, is NOT the whey. Stop what you're doing, flip through the phone directory and FIND A DOCTOR WHO CAN PROPERLY DIAGNOSE YOU.

This happened to me as a kid too (I think I was around 15). Anyhow, i noticed a slight lump forming. It went away after a few weeks, and then it happened again on the other side, but it also went away. Its probably a small case of gyno, which i've read is common in young males. Its all those screwed up hormones. I'm almost positive it has nothing to do with protein supplements.

if protein is the cause of your gyno, then you can't eat steak,chicken,tuna,etc...get the point...your doc is a fool to even suggest such a thing...abnormal estrogen/PR levels can have an effect as well as other factors, but surely NOT protein powder...---fyi

ive start with the protein again.. so if that was the cause oh well
