Hey bro, got a couple of questions regarding this meet.

1. Do I need to register with whatever federation it is before the meet, what federation is it do you know.

2. I just read something about briefs not being allowed in some meets do you know whether or not I am going to be allowed to use them under my suit.

3. I NEED A 700 SQUAT!!!

I am stuck right now at 635 with briefs and wraps but no suit. I am suiting up this Friday and going to see if it helps much. Also I am reading an article on Westside training and widening my stance and such but you've seen my stance and I thought it was pretty wide. Gimme some tips bro, I got to get in the 7's.
 
The meet is an APF meet. You can register with the fed at the meet. You will want to mail in your application to the meet early so you don't pay a late fee.

Briefs are allowed in the APF.

I am not powerlifterjay, but I am lifting at the same meet.
 
Dam juice junkie i didnt even see this post. Havent been online much lately as you can see. But first off face the dumbell area when you squat for the last 3 to 4 weeks of squatting. You will need it. Also i wouldnt ry to widen up too much at this point. If you could go wider it would be better. You are a little close compared to what i squat at. But your fuckin strong as hell, so dont even worry about it. Make your opening attempt humble. Something you can do for at least a good double. Then go for it. Maybe pick your second attempt something your sure you'll get but hard as hell. If you get it go all out! And yes you can regester there and get yuour card there too. Its good for 1 yr to date. You will get on there list and you'll know when they have meets going on. And you can use briefs and your suit no problem. Train hard and since its your first meet get that suit on a little sooner then normal, and feel good in it. Make your meet day just another squat session. You will do great bro no worries here!

PLJ, thanks bro as you can see on my PR post I managed to get 635 last week and 650 this week. I have been going heavy the last 5 weeks so I think I might need to switch things for a bit. I read an article by Dave Tate that said continuing to max every week can actually diminish your max.

BTW PLJ, that one 18yr old from the gym got 700 this week. He and I are chipping away at each other. His bench is about like mine but his deadlift is up around 6.
