On off days, would it be ok to do calves and abs?

I have two off days in my workout right now. I was thinking of doing calves and abs on those off days. So there wouldnt be a complete day where I did nothing, but there would be two days where all I did was calves and abs. Whatcha think?

I think it's a good idea. I've done it before. I believe you can hit those 2 areas constantly without the fear of overtraining. jmo....

Well thats good, I have heard however that on some off days you shouldnt go to the gym at all. Just stay home and sleep. Like don't train anything. Anyone else?

I sometimes do those 2 muscle groups at home instead of going to the gym to do them. That's what I liked about it.....I felt like I was still training (light day) but by doing it at home I felt like I still was enjoying having the day off from the gym & the heavy weights to rest up. It only took like 20-30 minutes total which ain't bad. I probably wouldn't do it though if I had to go the gym to get it in.
