I mlove oatmeal and miss it dearly, I am cutting right now and just cant take any in. Id always eat mine uncooked with some cinnamon and splenda in in out of a cup and chew it up real good it tastes ausome. Four more weeks. lol
I mix 2/3 c. raw oats with 1/4 c. Fiber One cereal and water and microwave it, then when it's hot I put about 1/4 c. sugar free maple syrup in there for flavor. That's my breakfast every morning...I'm keeping carbs sorta low (<150 grams) and that meal accounts for about 50 g of (slow-digesting) carbs first thing in the morning (270 cals, 48 g carbs, 8 g protein). And I love oatmeal as long as there is SOME flavor...doesn't have to be much, but those plain raw oats are pretty tough to down!
Man, I really hope this isn't a dumb question, but here goes: What is so bad about rasins? I eat my oats every day with two of the little 14g snack boxes dumped in.
It does add a little bit of sugar, but it makes it a hell of a lot more palatable.
