Steak and eggs. 2500 calories is not even scratching the surface. Slowly increase calories to about 5-6000. Force feed yourself and if you puke swallow it back down.

Dude, not to be rude, 6000 calories is what 250 lbs powerlifters eat. Coleman eats that much.
I think 3000 then slowly increase is good enough. What do you guys think?

That's horrible, why would you recommend 6000 calories to someone that is underweight? I gain solid weight from 3800 a day and I'm 190.
I would suggest adding in an extra 500 calories a day on top of what you're eating now. Too much and your body will just store it all...

Yes, I know. I will be eating about 3000 each day. I am only 125.
What is the best program for my weight?
5x5 sl?

forget the weight gainer powder. unless its something like n2bulk.. all the ones you buy from gnc are just the cheapest whey concentrate, and a shit load of sugar. i dont see how people arent getting diabetes from them..

this is my "weight gain" shake:

1-2 cups of oats
handfull of peanuts
couple scoops of whey
whole milk

blend that 3 times a day, first one as soon as you wake up before breakfast, and one of them being right before bed with casein instead of whey is also a good option. eat at least a pound and a half of lean meat a day for now. plenty of whole grain carbs. good fats like avacados, nuts and fish oil. another thing you can do is set your alarm and wake up half way through your sleep and down a protein shake.

I agree!
I can't stand when I see this, guys telling skinny bro's to eat way to much.
Weight gain should be approached just like weight loss, slow and steady.
At 125lbs if he starts eating 5000-6000 cals he is going to get fat as shit! He'll have to stop and do a bf cut at 180lbs!
Imo when it comes to diet a 20% surplus or deficit is healthy and productive.
Op you need to calculate you bmr (Google it) then add a surplus of about 20%. Just Google "calorie calculator" there are literally thousands of free one's you can use.
Find a good one type in your stats and goals and it will do the rest for you.
Hell if you find a real good one they'll give you example meals as well.
Good luck.

This is why I said slowly over time. The reason people are skinny in the first place is because they dont eat enough.

What? People are skinny because of genetics, which is the major factor for ectomorphic structures.
Food is the primary factor for gaining mmuscle, not being skinny.

Just because your genetics make you naturally thin it doesnt mean you cant change it. I think its bs when people use genetics as a scapegoat. Champions are made not born.

That is whatI an saying. :)
I can and have changed gained about 30 lbs in 2 years. Still low but a high gain. But that does not mean people are ectomorphs, because they don't eat enough.

A 30 lb gain in 2 years is typical for someone trying to gain mass. Well typical for a beginner. An advanced level athlete wont gain that much. Just keep eating and training and 5 years or so you should be over 200+ and jacked.
