Since I've been on EF I have really been trying to eat more protein as you fine folks helped me realize that I wasn't eating near enough protein. I've seen a huge difference in my body since eating more protein. So here's what I'm wondering. I am getting most of my protein from chicken, eggs/egg whites, turkey (ground turkey..turkey burgers...), fish and other lean meats. However, lately, I feel as if I eat one more piece of meat I'm gonna chunk. I just made myself an omelet with 1 whole egg and several egg whites with some 2% cheese and tons of vegetables. I took one bit and just about gagged!! It's like I just cannot eat anymore of the same stuff. anyone else get like that? Have different alternatives? I know gettiing my protein from 'real' foods is best, but just for a week or two, to give myself a break, is it ok to just drink a lot of protein shakes? Just to give myself a break from chicken and eggs? I couldn't even eat my omelet. I shoved as much down as I could. Any suggestions?
