My wife is 30 year old and we usually work out together. She runs 3-4 miles 5 days per week. She is an RN and she works 3rd shift for 3-4 days per week. She is having trouble keeping her energy levels up. She says she always feels tired. I know her shift has a lot to do with it. I had her on opti multi for women but that didn't do it. Caffeine products aren't an option because she gets sick. Forged burner made her feel like hell. She needs a good multi in my opinion, I just don't know what to get her.

She also is having trouble finding the foods to stop her cravings on her late night work schedule. She says she alway feels hungry. We eat a well balanced diet so I know thats not the problem. She works nights so when all the girls order food, it triggers her. Any suggestions on the multi V and something to supress her appetite? Thanks for all your help!

poor energy and always feels tired. Hopefully we can safely assume she has already seen a physician and had a full workup to r/o medical issues. Discussing appetite suppressants before absolutely establishing good health would be pretty irresponsible of us.

She has seen a doctor and everything checks out well. She has regular physicals and she takes care of herself. She isn't on a prescription medication nor does her doctor feel the need to prescribe her anything.

People with unusual schedules and work hours struggle with this. Sometimes your body never adjust to different sleep and work hours.

I have normal hours but I still get that 2-3 oclock blahs. This may not be an option for your wife, but I am able to get a 30-60 minute nap around 2 oclock most days. For some people even a 20 minute power nap helps.

Is she gaining bodyfat or does she want the appetite suppressant because of the poor quality of food she's eating impulsively? I'm not sure what a multivitamin would have in it that would suppress anyone's appetite.

She could just be overtrained/underrested. 15-20 miles a week would require plenty of good quality sleep on a regular basis.

I know that mulit V's don't supress appetite, I was looking for 2 seperate supplements to help out. One supplement to help supress appetite and one good multi V for overall health and energy. She does need more sleep though, I totally agree with that. It's more of the impulse cravings that bother her during her night shifts. If she had something that would curb her appetite, that would help a ton.

Ephedrine is the only other one that I can think of for appetite suppression but depending where you live would depend on whether it's legal and I'm not sure she wants to be taking it for work.

Impulse cravings are a tough one, especially if you are surrounded by people who are ordering out and you are tired. It may have to come down to more self control or the basics like drinking more water or tea maybe, bringing some food to snack on while working, planning ahead that way etc. Is it possible she's not eating enough? That was another thought I had.

It's a tough situation. I would really struggle too with working nights.
