Need Back Exercises Suggestions

Hi,

What are some weight training exercises that I can do that will target my back? I'm currently doing One Arm Rows. SLDL which target my hams more, and of course the squats, which I feel more so in my quads.

I currently do all weight training at home, and I only have a bench, BB set, and a few dumb bells. I would be willing to buy some bands if I can figure out a contraption where I would work my back more.

Any suggestions?

Try flipping through some of these...

Back Exercises

Thanks Bunny. I've done most of the DB and BB exercises listed there. I check there first before I ask questions, so people won't get annoyed with me. I guess there's not a wide variety of exercises that can be done with the equipment I'm limited to. However, I spoke to a helpful trainer at the gym, and she showed me some exercises with the body bar, that I could prolly incorporate with a light barbell and definitly some db's. I was shocked, someone that actually could help me there. I guess my fees aren't going to waste. Too bad she didn't know the names of the exercises.

This is probably repetitive but I'm just running down a mental list of stuff I do that isn't cable or machine dependent:

- DB deads - stiff & bent
- bent over flyes
- rows
- reverse flyes -- don't know if your flat bench is adjustable to an incline seat or you can use a fit ball too - lean your chest on it and do reverse flyes. Can also do rows, etc with a small range to hit the inner parts of the back.
- Lying pull overs
- Shrugs

ugh, can't think of anymore right now....

Aww no worries girl..I just didn't want to leave you hanging. It is so much easier when someone can actually SHOW you face to face some different exercises, I'm glad you some help, even if it's a only a little help...

Please don't feel you cannot ask questions because others have a 'bad day' and snap or come off bitter, rude, etc. More often than not, some other ladies may have the same question and are afraid to post etc.

Now on the the other hand, if you ask me why you can't lose weight 100 times and are still eating pizza & Cookies daily... then I may get a little annoyed, but I'd still luv ya

Not repetitive. Excellent info, especially the reverse flyes, and the bent over flyes. Yes, my bench does adjust. And, yes I have a fit ball, so that will come in handy too.

Thnx
