I'll be playin basketball in a league on Mondays and Wednesdays during the summer which only leaves me with a few days to train, so I thought I would do this:
Thursday or Friday: ME Bench Day
Thursday, Friday, or Saturday: Cleans and Squats
Tuesday: DE Bench Day

So if I do ME on thursday I would do cleans and squats on Fri.
If ME was on Fri. then I would do cleans and squats on thurs. or sat.

What do you guys think? Is this the best schedule?

Edit: I'll crosspost on the Powerlifting board.

Thats not too much benching if he is doing westside powerlifting. If he was bodybuilding it would be.

Thats not too much benching if he is doing westside powerlifting. If he was lifting all out on both days it would be though but he is speaking of having a dynamic(speed) bench day and a maximum effort bench day(heavy partial reps, ie boards, floor presses, etc)

Correct, the benching is Westside. I'll be using Westside for my bench and then just include whatever other upper body work that needs to be done after the benching.

Take Hannibals advice that he gave you on the powerlifting forum.
He knows his shit.

I remember a physical trainer at a college putting the players more on a circuit training program or I think that is what it was called. They would basically do 2 sets for each body part with higher reps and low weight and basically work all the small muscle groups on one day.

I never heard of westside powerlifting. So many routines out there that you need a phone book to store them all.
