This is definitely where I'm going to struggle because I love potatoes so much. I get up at 8am. I am gradually going to try and make myself eat when I get up because I'm just not used to it. See, I worry that if I don't follow this way of eating properly, I'll end up getting fat. I'll definitely try to cut out a lot of the carbs, but it isn't going to be easy. What kind of carbs do you eat because surely you have to eat some.

I typically eat HALF of my daily amount of carbs POST WORKOUT.....the other 50-75 are spread thru the day.

the only refinded sugar I eat is postworkout

Of course you have to eat carbs, if you don't you literally will not be able to function properly throughout the day. You just need to eat GOOD carbs, some examples would be brown rice, sweet potato, oats, cream of wheat, whole wheat pasta, fruits(not everyone can eat these while cutting).

Don't gradual try to eat breakfast, because saying that is giving yourself an excuse to not eat breakfast. Make yourself eat, I understand it's difficult, because I've been there. I hated eating first thing in the morning, but I said to myself I have to eat in the morning if I want to accomplish my goal so suck it up. And I got used to it, now I can't go without eating any later than 8:30.

Once you get your body used to eating at specific times, it will tell you when it's time to eat. I eat every 2 1/2 to 3 hours, if I don't get food at those intervals, I get very annoyed and I know it's time to eat.

You definiately need to get it out of your head that if you're eating 6 times a day that you'll get fat, that's not true, as long as you're eating healthy that is.

It'll definitely take some getting used to, but by taking small steps, you'll do OK....

I try to eat most of my carbs early in the day & taper them off in the evening...

Crackerbread, I think, is similar to rice cakes. I think they are only 1 carb per cracker so I imagine that they would be ok. Also, I don't really like peanut butter. But I love sunflower seeds, so I'll get some of those to snack on during the day.

What about toast with butter for my first meal of the day (on brown bread)?

you NEED to add some protein to your first meal!

I thought butter was protein

OMG. You need to get a "Counts" book - a book that gives the breakdown of proteins / fats / carbs / calories in every type of food you can imagine.

*biting tongue*

I am ------>this close<------ to locking this.

I have no inkling to help someone who cant read a food label.
