My diet- critique

Hello all:

Could you take a peak at my diet and let me know your thoughts? Do you think this is a good diet for my goal? Ok, here's the diet I came up with. Thank you in advance!

Current stats: 140 lbs
5'5''
bodyfat-unknown-about 18-20%

Goal:
125 lbs
13% body fat


Cardio: 40 mins M-Sat
Weights: M-F



Current BMR: 1680 Calories – 22% deficit = 1310 Calories for Diet

Meal 1 (Breakfast) 1/2 Cup Oatmeal
23g whey protein
½ Tbsp Flax Oil

Meal 2 (9:30am) 23g whey protein

Meal 3 (12pm) ¼ Cup Brown Rice
½ Chicken Breast
1/2 Tbsp Flax Oil

Meal 4 (2:30pm) 1 Tbsp Flax Oil


Meal 5 (4:30pm) 23g whey protein
¼ Tbsp Flax Oil

Meal 6 ½ Chicken Breast
1/4 Cup Brown Rice
2 Cups Chopped Broccoli
1 Tbsp Flax Oil


Totals:Calories 1310
Carbs 68g
Protein 130g
Fat 59g

Look good...10-12x on a 40/40/20 split.



dont be afraid to bump the carbs up a bit if you drag...dop the fat a bit if you do.

Looks really good as a baseline


just hit the weights hard and limit cardio

Thanks bunches! Realistically, if I am 100% dedicated to this diet and training, how long do you think it would take me to get there?
 
1 to 1.5 % bodyfat dropper week is very doable....my "subjects" have all averaged that or a little better
 
Wow if that is a good diet, i'm eating too much.
Doesn't seem to be much food there.
By the whey (: how are you getting those 23 g of whey???
 
You NEED to get BF% done NOW. If you are starting, you need that hard number nuow, in order to judge progress and whether the diet/training is working. Do it NOW! :)

It's actually working well for me, I'm pretty full all day, except for late night chocolate cravings!

The whey is EAS Myopro
