I would put everyone to sleep here. I am sick, my Doctor says I am well, I have a cold nose but it runs, I pee myself and I am not going to change cause I am not done yet. I feel like chasing cars right now.

I HATE my cat. I can't even tell you how much. She has peed in my bed, scratched up my furniture, scratched my carpet up, gets her nasty hair EVERYWHERE and you can't vaccuum this stuff up. It's like crazy glue. It is mere guilt that keeps me from dropping her at the pound TODAY.

Yesterday, I came home and sat down on the chair with devin and thought, "Hmmm..why is my butt wet? I must have let a bottle leak on the chair?" Then, I thought about it more and realized that I KNEW I didn't do that. THEN THE SMELL HIT ME!!! Holy crap! I wanted to KILL that cat. So, I took all the cushions off and sprayed them with an enzyme cleaner made just for that purpose and aired them out in the sun for hours. JESUS that is NASTY! Thank goodness this cleaner actually was the bomb and took the smell out, but that is just gross. I want to strangle this cat on a daily basis.

She's just a cat, she doesn't know any better. The furniture scratching could have been prevented by having her declawed. Is she a long hair or short haired cat? Long haired cats are VERY difficult to keep from shedding all over your house. The peeing everywhere...ask the vet.

Sorry to hear you sat in the cat pee.

If it makes you feel better, after I clean and vacuum up a spot on my carpet that was covered in cat puke, my cat will just do it again the next day.

HR - I know this thread is way played out but what the hell. I didn't even read it until I found out is was such a hot topic.

Similar experience, when we had our first child, our cat, that we had for about 5 yrs, starting taking a crap in the baby bed. Pure jeolousy. That lasted for about 1 week and that cat got the boot.

I am not sure if we took it to an animal shelter or actually found somebody to take it. It was a rare pure bread worth about $600. Didn't matter - you take priorities in life as many people posted here, children take priority to your animals.

one of our 3 indoor "neutered" male cats used to spray/pee in the house. It would get angry about something and it would happen pretty frequently. I'd bet it has been doing it more since D'nerion has been here.
If you really want to see all that it has done, get a black light. Cat pee has alot phosophrous and glows, you can see ALL the old places and the new.

We now have 2 outdoor cats and one indoor. Also, we have all new tile floors, she Kiltzed all the walls multiple times where the glowing spots were and put some enzyme shit down on the concrete before the tile was lain. One spot, she had the wall removed and new sheetrock added, needless to say, it was QUITE expensive.
