I finally talked to the fitness manager... and he told me to come in and fill out an application.

The front desk guys have been jerking me around... in fact, the one that gave me the internet card walked in as I was turning my application. ;)

Oh well, hopefully he'll actually read it. :)

LOL

I've been trying to apply for a position as a PT there for a while, but keep getting dicked around. I get sent to their website, I get told to fill out shit online, but today I finally talked to the guy I had to and he tod me to come in...

Like Bignate said, the frontdesk guys don't have a clue, and may just ditch your shit because they are trying for a similar position.

isn't that the place that doesn't allow deadlifts?

That was the Manhattan Beach one... although, Spatts pointed out her friend worked there and they DO allow them... so either I wasn't at the Manhattan Beach 24 Hour... or I was dreaming...

Mine doesn't have any such rules... although, I'm the only one (during my workout time) who I have seen do them (other than stiff legged)

I'm a fitness counselor at 24-hour fitness. You always have to fill out that appication on-line...but it's most important to talk to the head-trainer in person to set an interview appointment.

That's funny... Travis, the fitness manager at my 24 Hour told me that for PT, you don't apply online, but have to come in and talk to the head trainer... he told me the online application stuff is for sales people and such.

I've filled out about 200 of the online applications... one for eact PT/CPT position in Orange County. :)

I got the advice from BigNate... the FM is supposed to call me tomorrow.

You should try club #121 in costa mesa. We just lost a trainer because he moved up.

I'll work in Costa Mesa... no problem. PM me the details. I hear "Have to apply online" then I hear "Have to talk to a fitness consultant" -- shit is getting outta wack. I like the Anaheim Hills club... #195... everyone here is super rich... probably be able to afford PT work. :)
