i usully eat a few bananas and have a proteinshake right after my workouts... then an hour after i eat some pasta and chicken.
usully this pasta and chicken meal is around 8 pm.
i was wondering this meal 1 hour after workout...do they need to have carbs in them or is it okay with just protein, would it make any difference?

i know its no good to eat carbs that late so thats why im asking..

banana is too low glycemic

you need high glycemic carbs post training. ( not to worry, wont be stored as fat but rather, utilized for glycogen replenishment)

btw don't forget protein ( that stuff is rumored to make your muscles big)

I'd definitely recommend eating carbs in the meal after the PWO meal, but im sure this is something that could be debated goal depending
