little food, mostly weight gainer?

My largest problem when trying to bulk up is eating enough because I naturally am not that hungry and don't really like eating that much, I almost see it as a chore. This might have to do with the paxil I take, not sure.

I have been taking Cytogainer by Cyto sport since the start of this cycle 6 weeks ago. with lowfat milk it has 1000 calories a serving, 56 grams of protien (without the milk), has a decent amount of carbs, low sugar, low fat. I take it 3 times a day, but I have been eating very little...maybe 1 or 2 meals a day.

Is this ok? does the body need a certain amount of solid food to grow? Can you get by with a lot of weight gainer and little food? One problem might be that I'm going a lot of hours with no food or shakes, sometimes 6-8 hours. I seem to be doing ok so far though, I've put on 20lbs in 6 weeks on 500test/450 deca. I just wonder if I'm not maximizing the full potential I could be. What do you guys think?

I feel like I need both food and shakes to be honest, but I've also never been in a positon where I could only use shakes so I'm not saying it couldn't work.

But it's really a moot point if you can't eat anyway. Also, 20lbs in 6 weeks? Man there's sure nothing wrong with that.

But you can help yourself if you add some flax to your shakes IMO. Good fats are good for you.

when you say your biggest problem while bulking is eating, do you mean you normaly have a hard time gaining weight? because 20lbs in six weeks sounds very decent to me, some people dont have to eat all day to have good gains. personaly i eat six real meals a day about every 2 1/2 to 3 hours along with two protein shakes. i think if you have gained 20lbs already you could probably have much better gains if there wasnt such large lull between your meals. a steady flow of nutrients throughout the day is important for muscle growth. i also i feel that "real" food as the base to most peoples diet is much more beneficial.

Fiber

Don't underestimate the necessity of fiber in your diet. You should be ok if thee whole meals that you eat contain your daily vaules of dietary fiber.

Good point man. :)

Eat solid food as soon as you get up followed by a shake. Take another shake after your workout and right before bed. Write down or just make a mental note of the time of your first meal. Make yourself eat something, anything, every 3 hours. I'm a hardgainer too and this has worked for me. Just suck it up bro.........us hardgainers have to eat cause it's time, not cause we're hungry.
