Hey,
Trying to find my next pair of gym shoes..currently wearing some
Nike free ride (I believe that's what they are).. I want a pair that looks great, stands out, and well suited for
Lifting/running. Would love to hear some recommendations.

Thanks everyone

Im probably gonna order some brooks glycerin 10's. One of the best running shoes made and comfortable as shit.

Also check out Asics' Cumulus 14's and Nimbus 14's also great runnin shoes that look good imo anyway.

converse and realflex with superfeet insoles.

Lifting and running shoes should be to different animals. If your a serious lifter then you want a good stable flat shoe like chuck taylor's. I don't know anything about running shoes but do not squat and deadlift in them.

For lifting the best shoe is chuck taylor allstars. They cost $40 and by far the best lifting shoe I have ever used. For running I like new balance.

Good advice but I am going to recommend Do-win oly shoes over chucks. You don' t realize how much your heals sink (even in Chucks) until you wear only shoes. I can not and will not lift in anything else.
