jpt's log

yesterday woke up...had some cottage cheese and pineapple...drank a little joe and hit the gym.

worked some abs...leg raises and rope crunches. then did 48 minutes on the treadmill 2.6 at 12% incline. was pretty impressed i stayed on that long :)

todays diet

meal 1 1/2 cup of cottage cheese w/pineapple
meal 2 1 1/2 cups of eggwhites
meal 3 4 meatballs (beef, pork, and veal)
meal 5 1 can of tuna
pwo muscle milk shake with 1 banana
meal 6 baked chicken and green beans
meal 7 2 tablespoons of anpb
 
on the treamill? yeah....i kept thinking about what ronnie colmean had written on his wall in one of his videos. "if you always do what you always done. you'll always get what you've always gotten." usually i would have done about 20-30 minutes but i said fawk that....it's time to shine!
 
changing my pre and post workout shakes....

going to use muscle milk before.....and then 2 scoops of whey right after. so i'm basically adding in another 350 cals to my diet 4 days a week. i usually don't have anythign preworkout...just my can of tuna about 2 hours prior to lifting. this leaves little room for error as i want to stay around 2000 cals for the day while cutting. so on avg this is what my day will look like

meal 1 cottage cheese with pineapple 140cals
meal 2 1 1/2 cups og eggwhites 142cals
meal 3 6oz baked chicken 215 cals
meal 4 tuna 160 cals
pre workout muscle milk 350 cals
pwo ON whey with a banana 380 cals
meal 5 6oz baked chicken with green beans and 1 cup of wild rice 476 cals
meal 6 22 almonds 164 cals


Total: 2027 cals

Fat: 56 503 26%
Carbs: 109 369 19%
Protein: 259 1035 54%
 
yesterday's training

switching to a 30 second rest interval btwn sets for the next 7 weeks and keeping my reps btwn 12-15 (pre honeymoon). this absolutely sucked by the way....i felt like a huge pussy but whatever and i think i let out some kind of girlish squeal on one of my last sets which of course had the lightest weight on.

chest/back

incline barbell 155x12, 125x12, 105x13
hammer strength 3x15,12,11
cable crossovers 3x15
incline pushups burnout set
***5 minutes of stretching
t-bar in the corner 145x15, 135x12, 115x12
seated rows underhand grip 140x12, 120x12, 90x15
btn pull downs 140x15, 120x12, 100x10 *****forearms were fawking killing me at this point
hammer strength rows 3x15

topped the workout off with 20 mintues on the treadmill 2.6 @12% incline

i hate these fawking workouts b/c they really kick the shit out of me...i hate being sore and out of breathe when lifting but this will give me like a double dose of cardio for the honeymoon. i'm not going to gain too much muscle in the next few weeks before i go so it seemed like a good idea to try this. and just b/c its 12-15 reps doesn;t mean it's easy...by no means. i make sure it's a heavy 12-15

the woman is doing aaaak. she freaked out about the honeymoon last week but is over it now...i'm more nervous i think then she is. i plan on starting my bulking diet when i'm down there lol...it's an all inclusive resort so if i want 3 filet mignons for dinner...i can have it :)
