I put some on my chicken for dinner and it was tasty... as far as HOT :redhot: goes though, it doesn't have anything on those peppers T is referring too :lmao:

Wow - Do I hear ya! My office is closing to we 'celebrate' every time someone leaves. Yesterday it was a big chocolate chip cookie cake... of which I had a small piece. Next week it'll be cake, then pizza, ice cream... bagels and donuts... you name it. I've been beating myself up over it a little bit ~ One way or another I can't win w/these ladies. If I do eat it, they are shocked and surprised because I'm eating something 'bad'. If I don't eat it, they comment on how 'good' (or even too good) I am.

I can't wait for my unemployment 'vacation' and my new job.

This is EXACTLY what I endure with my friends too!! No winning, I tell ya!! :rolleyes: A

fter MANY years, I am now totally immune to the crap in the office place. I can just walk by it and not even look at it twice. It took a lot of mental work to get there though.

I'm still struggling with it - I hope to get there someday though! I would like to hear what Jens got to say here, too. How do you get to the immune level?

No secrets to getting to the immune level...just mental strength.

For me, I pre-plan my meals the night before. I have an Excel spreadsheet and add up my numbers - may be crazy to most, but it works for me. I vary up my meals according to my mood (if I want more "fun" meals, I'll add pumpkin, cottage cheese, bananas/if I have a hankering for red meat, I'll throw in some lean beef etc. as long as the final numbers add up), so I actually look forward to eating the next day. I give myself the permission to vary the actual times that I eat the meals depending on my energy level, schedule etc, but not the quantity or actual foods. Having it all planned that way stops me from getting distracted or even pausing to look at other food. Why look when I KNOW I can't have it, y'know....and this way, I cherish my planned cheats even more :D

Oh jeez!! So far I haven't eaten ANY of the donuts ('cept for the donut hole incident) and I didn't have any ice cream cake......Had 2 slices of plain cheese pizza, no crust today - but I planned on that...+ I had a salad....

Glad you all liked it!! I wasn't happy with how it turned out....thought it was too "liquidy".....

**Day started off BADLY!! Was running late & got stuck in traffic behind a school bus that had its lights on but didn't seem to be picking up no kids..... :rolleyes: Felt like I was in a fog all day too.....grumpy & very tired tonite too.....and I have NO meat cooked - ran out somehow & didn't realize so I guess I have to go out to lunch tomorrow.....*sigh*
