Is a Squat day Deadlift day and 3 HIIT sessions a week to much leg work?

I've been just doing HIIT the first few weeks of my diet, but I'm missing the real leg work so I'm starting it back up again tonight. I'm worried that on my diet all this leg work will be wasted because of insufficent nutrition. How should I split up squats, deads and the HIIT to avoid overtraining? Can I accomplish good leg work and deads while trying to trim down? I know this is sort of a repeat of a few other threads so I apologize in advance. I personally don't think it's going to work out but I'm being pushed by members on this board that I need to keep the heavy stuff as much as possible to preserve my lean mass.

I'm always trying to grow, but right now priority is in dropping bodyfat, we've had this discussion so I won't elaborate. I know what has been said etc but my question is would putting a great deal of time and effort into those big lifts right now be a waste since my nutrition isn't geared towards growth currently? Yes I have a learning disability, that's been established. Once I'm happy again with my appearance I will begin working towards strength increases but while keeping my leaness in check to some degree.

OK...the body fat drop is diet, so I won't waste any time on it.

I was going to give you a nice long explanation, but suddenly I don't feel so inclined. If you want to grow you need to recover. So keep the sprints at least a day and a half to two days away from the weight sessions for legs...treat it like a weight session and you should be fine.
