You're startving yourself; if you are taking in 1300+ where you should be taking in a minimal of 1680, it will not create a positive outcome in the long-run. The starvation and lowering of T4-T3 (conversion) will cause you to go into starvation-mode and not lose FAT but "weight" or in time just stop losing any weight period. I suggest increasing calories.

Thanks Mr.X I will try to do that I have a really hard idea with the concept of more calories cause I feel like I eat a lot already but I want to do this right. I see your the diet guru around here. But as I loose weight I should start to lower the calorie intake right?

Once you have your ratios figured out (i.e. weight x 10 or 12) then you can adjust it weekly for weight fluctuations.

Mr.X what are good fats besides flax oil and olive oil?
Please say cheese. LOL
Thanks

flax, olive, safflower, sunflower, peanut, walnut, hazelnut, bran oil
most of these other than the nut oils and olive you do not want to over heat if used for cooking

cheese can be good do not use light cheese
just remember to count the carbs

string cheese (mozz) is good
i love swiss and old cheddar

saturated fat has its place in a diet also
more so for guys
but you can also add omega369 caps
or udo's

ok what are lower carb cheeses if there is such a thing?
why no fat free cheese?

hard cheeses such as old cheddar and aged parmesan are advisable by atkins
soft cheeses except triple creams(brie) are not suggested because most are higher in carbs

fat free cheeses are higher in carbs

read the label

fat is not your enemy
carbs are
count every carb
you want to be under 100 g a day
i consume approx 30 g aday
and the weight shed is very visible

yeah the fat free cheese i have is like 2 grams of carbs a slice but i would prefer old cheader on my egg whites it dam i love havarti cheese but that is soft guess save that for my free days. I am only eating like 20-30 grams of carbs a day.

i eat havarti all the time
and soft goat cheese
atkins suggested against soft cheeeses during induction
i am mistaken

i am around 45 g a day
when back on atkins since i hit a plateau
no carb up day
which is not a prob since i don't really want to bulk up any
just lose
