If you have gained muscle and lost fat at the same time, post how you did it.

There is a large debate over if you can gain muscle and loose fat at the same time. Dispite the large belife that this is impossible, there still are people who do this. I would like to know how this can be accomplished, as i am currenty trying to do this myself, taking only 40mg of BD Var ED.

Please post your diet (Training, Cardio, Calories, P/C/F, timing of meals, and Suppliments and gear).

MY DIET
I am 175 11%bf, I am taking in between 2000-2800 calories depending on weather i workout or not. 300-320p 70-80f and the only carbs i eat, are veggies, and 40g dextrose in my PWO shake, and 60 from sweetpotato, in my PWO meal, taken with ALA. Most of the fats are from flax and nuts. I also take MCT oil before a workout. My cardio consists of 20min fast walking, immediatly following workout, before my PWO shake. I also rotate Clen and ECA.

Let me know what you think of mine, and Post your own diets, that have worked for you.

people dont do it. you can do a few weeks of bulking where you gain lets say 10 lbs, then cut for a few weeks. afer yuou are done, the net result will be muscle gained and fat lost. doing this at the same time IS impossible, as to gain muscle mass, you need a caloric surplus, and to lose fat you need a caloric deficit

Who is saying that it is impossible?? Diet rich in protein, 4 days of well-rounded training per week. It's really that simple. The people who say it is impossible, must be the ones who can't stick with it.

alltraps is right...everyone would like to find that magic formula; however, you have to focus on one thing at a time. This way you will see the best results. Otherwise, you will end up spinning in circles with no results.

It is VERY possible. Just get up to about 310 like me, you know, really ripped at like 28% BF!! :mix: Then diet down and work your ass off...literally!

Seriously though, I'm pretty sure I put on quite a bit of muscle while shedding the fat, as well as a huge increase in strength. That stopped dead at about 18%bf though. Now I'm loosing a bit of strength as I diet down further. I think fitter you are, the harder it gets to just loose fat. I would think with AAS and a very carefully planned diet SOME (operative word here), I repeat SOME people could burn fat and build muscle simultaneously. Everyone's body reacts differently.

My .02 :D

I'm sorry, I totally disagree fellas. Train heavy. Keep the calories in check. Keep the protein high. It is definitely possible.

Have you achieved this yourself. I am currrenty 2 weeks into my cycle, and I hope that i am not wasting it.

What do you guys think of my Diet?

You know, Serb, I shot you the same info as alltraps several months ago. I recommended that you bulk for 3 weeks, and cut for 3 weeks. Continue the cycle until you get where you want to be. If I'm not mistaken, you have no trouble getting ripped.
On the other side of the coin, we have people that do gain muscle, and get ripped at the same time. In the Pumping Iron era, I believe that this is the way bodybuilders got ready for contests. They would slowly add muscle, and get ripped at the same time. I'll bet that some of these old timers have some excellent tricks up their sleeves if some of us would just listen.

Definately possible!! Even for the genetically average individual who isn't on a PERFECT diet it's possible. I can't believe people still don't believe that this is so. Time and time again my clients who are men and women with different genetics and lifestyles have put on muscle as well as lose bodyfat at the same time and doing this without steroids. Of course when someone has trained for some time it is more practical to do one or the other but it is definately possible even for people who have worked out for some time.
