So, I had a FAT moment last night. I got really down about a lot of things. The biggest thing was that I am so frustrated, being out here and not being allowed to have the perfect fat loss diet or the perfect "two a day" workouts! I shared my frustration with my wonderful husband, which helped a little, butI am still having some issues with not being happy with the progress I HAVE made...I will get through it though and come out a better person on the other side. ;) ;)

Exactly! You are in unusual circumstances and have made heaps of progress regardless. Try to look at what you have achieved rather than what you haven't. And in less than 3 weeks you can get cracking on those areas that you feel are lacking (not like there's much, you know, really - but I understand how you feel).

Plus I am proud of you for sharing this in your journal

All will be good, you know that :rose:

IP don't get down about not being in the ideal situation. Just look at how much you have done out here and then once you get home it will be a breeze for you to reach whatever goals you have for yourself. It is not easy to stick with a strict diet and workout schedule out here (as you already know). You have already made such awesome progress and you are an inspiration for me to get my butt in gear.

Thanks so much mermaid for the words of encouragement. You are absolutely right, I need to be content with what I HAVE achieved out here and HOPEFULLY in a couple of weeks I can fine tune the rest (though traveling so much will be rough as well)!! Thank you so much for doppin in on my mermaid and giving me a reality check. I just have been a little down lately for some reason. Thanks so much for being such a wonderful friend!!

Thanks girl!! I appreciate your support and you are right it is hard and ALL I can do is the best I can do and I can't do much about it right now and I must leave it at that! I will be able to do something about it soon enough! :verygood:

Thanks so much girls - I really needed a few pep talks to get my chin up!! ;)

I think people will get frustrated no matter where they are. Each situation has it's own set of circumstances and constraints. When I've been deployed it has been much easier to get in a consistent double set of workouts. All I'd do is work, eat, sleep and exercise. That being said, there would be disruptions to the cycle. I just take that as a mini-rest period for the body and mind.

Situation is different when stateside. Wife, kids, house, dog, 2... no, now *3* cats, kids sports, lawn, job, flying, trips for a week or two at a time, etc. Seems like there are more things that are competing for the time. It's not always possible to get up at o-dark-thirty to get a run or lift in before everybody is up and about. Getting that lunch time workout doesn't always fit the work schedule.

BTW, I'd still rather be home that over in the sand box :)

So... for my two cents... things tend to balance out a bit. It might be easier to diet in CONUS, but that would be replaced by something else that is harder due to being stateside. :D

jnuts, good to see you drop in! :)

The good thing is that we are 99+% that we will be helping to run a fitness facility and have been promised that we can train clients as often as we would like. So...2-a-days can actually be built into our work schedule. :) :arty: :garza:

Words can't begin to describe how excited we are about our next phase in life. :google: Lord willing...

IP your doing AWESOME! I know things can get frustrated at times, because of time, especially in nelms and yours situation. But remember
YOU ROCK GIRL!
and your hot!

Keep that chin up, and the calories a wee little more, hee hee, but yesterday looked good.

Much going on in here. I don't even think I can add on to anything anyone else has said. This is why you have to love EF...so much support from people we've never even met.

I hope you're feeling great today, IP! :rose:
