I need new straps

OK ive never used the leather ones....r they better??? anyone like these more than neoprene ones or other?

I HATED leather straps. They never seemed to stay where I wanted them to stay. They cut into me like piano wire also. I'd recommend you stick to the regular run of the mill cloth straps. BTW...How the hell did you wear out a pair of straps? I usually lose mine before I wear mine out. And before you say it, yes I do lift heavy... :D

HAHA well they are my first pair, so its been years....and they tore at the fold...i re-sewed them....but now they are shedding, aka falling to pieces !!!

Yeah i know you lift heavy dude....and mache :p

It's all about Mache huh...

LOL. You little Martha Stewart you. Sewing your straps? That's a first :D Actually Mache hardly uses straps anymore. She's not trying to build as much mass anymore. She still outlifts any other girl in our gym though...

"...fuck Martha Stewart, she's polishing the silver on the Titanic...it's all going down man." -Tyler Durden-

Actually I still have my first pair of straps too. And yes "I" have resewn them several times. Every seem in them has had to be redone...and I resewed them with heavy duty fishing line. So now they are "strong like bull"...but unfortunately they starting to shred on me as well. And the worst part is that they dont make the ones I have any more:(

Damn. I didn't know we had so many crafty people on the boards. They'd have to be some really special straps for me to go through the effort to learn how to sew... :D

...could be crafty, or could be cheap...but mainly it is because they are the best damn straps I have ever tried, and I cant find any more of them. Besides sewing is just another means of self reliance...not all of us are lucky enough to have a good woman in our lives.

I remember being an Asst. Boy Scout Master. I sewed on all the badges and the Scoutmaster said my wife was a "great sewer.":D

Hint for the ladies...Test boy has great hands.:D

I had the cloth ones for years and thought they sucked. They would always slip. I bought the leather ones from www.monstermuscle.com and been pleased with their performance. I rubbed in some saddle soap a few times during the weekend before Monday's work out. Once you strap on you are on so be careful. Anyway, the weights have gone up because the grip is improved. If you order from them you get your order in a few days. Good company.
