yo, I can name plenty. not from this era i.e. todays youth but still, plenty.

how many of them are really happy or don't cheat on their spouse?
things were different back then socially. people were more committed, but on the other side of the coin...divorce was so stigmatized that a majority of them stayed in unhappy marriages or just tried to "make the best of it".

i'm talking about today.

you know...i never jumped on the whole IP bandwagon, but this post completely shows how naive and sheltered you really are.

everyone who's experienced anything in life has gotten their heart broken in some/way shape or form. betrayal is a huge part of life.....and you've never experienced it, you have not lived.

there is not one person (unless they're completely cold, antisocial and defensive..and intentionally distance themselves from everyone) that i have ever met that has not gotten their heart broken.

if you think you're going to live happily ever after, i really pray you're going to be able to recover from the disappointment.

i wish you the best...but your mentality is doomed to fail
I didn't get my heart broken because I specifically chose to avoid this. Obviously with all the kids running around in relationships at a young age are going to get their heart broken. Whatever happens with Peter happens.. but from what I KNOW NOW, I am not worried. We have a wonderful relationship and we are happy together. Now, if that changes in the future, what can I do? Nothing.. so what do you want me to say?? Is it my fault I never dated so I never had my heart broken? And just because of that you're going to tell me it's inevitable. I have seen people date and marry their high school sweethearts and STAY married until this day... so why is that so uncommon?

As I said - I cannot predict the future but from what I know now, I am not worried.. I can only take things one step at a time.

You can not predict the future is right. So references to wedding photos makes you look ridiculous. Enjoy what you have now....and don't get caught up in a fantasy that has not occured yet.

Not a lot but if to know what love really is. P.S don’t feel sorry for me, I am perfectly happy being in check with reality rather then some fantasy land where heart break doesn’t exist.
Uhm I am in love and the reason I didn't have my heart broken was just because I never dated. I didn't purposely say "oh I won't date so I wont get my heart broken." I just never dated before...

All of the ones I was thinking of.

Agreed, things are different today, especially in the US. But that doesn't mean it can't happen or that its wrong for it to happen. I like religious girls personally as long as they're normal, classy and not nuts.

Ok - and that's fine. But I don't see why people have to bash me and predict it for me just because it's what they and others they know, have experienced?

I don't like that and I find it rude/ignorant that people will sit and tell me I don't know what I feel, if I'm REALLY in love, blah blah... I think that's wrong.

Hell yeah, but only the "after reception" ones

The craziest shit ever was the photographer had all these people that registered to 'peep' at the photos on his website setup for emails.

So... 9 weeks after teh wedding my wife is having this affair, I kick her out, everyone knows about it... but these relentless emails keep getting sent to everyone with the crown wedding photo of us right in the body of the email.

Subject: JH1 and CokeWhore's wedding photo's come take a look!

That email got sent out once a week for 6 weeks.

I wanted to go shuv an icepick in his eye.

Damn are you one negative woman.

P.S. I don't think so. And if that happens, it happens - what can I do? You cannot predict the future. Why do you care so much and why are you being so nasty about it? Just because men have screwed you over doesn't mean all men are that way.
:lmao: not negative at all pretty much one of the most positive people around but there you go with the snap judgments again. You are just naive you believe you know it all at 23 like everyone does once you have a little reality you will see that you don’t know shit. You seriously wonder why all these people attack you? Because you can’t see the possibility that you could be wrong and your narrow view of reality is slightly off base.

and is a self professed pickup artist.

it has completely warped my world.

i feel very strange.

I used to know who many I had, in college it was about 170, that was 25 years ago. I stayed single for the most part until I was 37. It was the 80's and early 90's, lived in Dallas and Houston, was out on the town 5-6 nights a week. If you had a little power in the 80's era and then E came along later, women weren't a problem. I don't know how old this guy was, but I'd have to say the averages are that I have been with 400 plus women. Aids wasn't even a word for the majority of the time I was clubbin, the worst thing that you had to worry about was herp. Seem to have made it through all of that...

I make my "predictions" off of your post JUST as you are doing now, to me. And you attacked me with your smart ass posts about "Peter." There was no need for you to bring it up yet you couldn't help yourself.

Then, you go so far as to tell me that because you are 28... a whole 5 years older than me, you know far more than I do. I am not being naive, I am being realistic to MY experiences and that is all I can go by, my friend. The way you talk on here it's as if you have had many negative experiences and whether or not that's true, you shouldn't predict that for another person that you have no idea about (there you go, snap judgement). My reality isn't your reality so no, it isn't off base.
