LOL...it wasn't. I thhink it was that I was not doing the big family thing today and t-giving is my favorite holiday. We are doing the big family thing on Saturday, but I think I just got lonely.

I don't think you're poor, but as you have admitted, you make bad financial decisions. You've posted about being overdrawn because you lent too much money to people and they bounced checks to you (when you were poor"er" apparently). You've lamented your generosity many times in the past. Also, you have admitted that you don't make a lot, even as a lawyer.

After seeing many past posts about your financial woes, I just want to see you learn and move beyond this to where you make consistently good financial decisions. I want DeQuan to have a fat inheritance!!

I make decent money. Not super rich. I make a smidge shy of 6 figures. I'm not bragging, cause that isn't rich, but I'm just explaining. I got a big raise 5 months ago. So, I have a little more wiggle room now than I did before. =-)

The account got overdrawn because I had a decent sized check bounce after I had lent out money.

when I complain it is because I had to start over with nothing -- no furniture, no tv, no computer, nothing, after I moved back to kentucky. Plus I'm still paying my student loans etc.

ah, I could have used it to pay off some stuff or buy a couple big tv's but it was kind of cool just giving it away!

see, now that's what I think would be best. Pay off all debt first (not with other debt though), then give away as much as you want from your cash reserves (without going into more debt).

But I'm just crazy like that!
