heather, that was a nice gesture. it always feels good to give, especially to those less fortunate. i spent 12 yrs working with abused and neglected children who basically had no parents. there were many years that i bought presents for all 25 kids on my caseload, even when i was making a mere $20,000/yr and i hardly had enough money to buy presents for people in my own family.

No offense taken. I think if I had a man around, this would NOT have happened...lol. I think my tears were lonliness/horniness...lol.

I hate to say this, but....part of the reason you don't have a man around is the crappy little 19 inch TV. Less being a great person, more strategizing to lure a man. A fifty-inch or better plasma TV with a top-end A/V receiver and premium surround speaker system will help you land one (wide open HD dish and blu-ray player to run on that system too, of course). You would have been halfway to buying a home entertainment system like the one I just mentioned if you hadn't gone out and dropped 4K.
