Shake n bake extra crunchy. Buy some chicken tenders at the grocery, coat in some egg whites and shake it all up. Good stuff. Not the best thing, but it beats fried chicken.

Oh and if you're going to "bake fry" your chicken pieces I suggest buying a pan/rack combo (at your local kitchen store). They usually sell them in a set so you can get a criss-cross rack that sits in a pan thus elevating the meat off the surface of the pan, thus preventing them from getting soggy.

my bread crumb recipe is healthier and taste way better

Herbed Whole Wheat Bread Crumbs


2 slices whole wheat bread (or your favorite whole grain bread)
1 TB dried basil
1 ts dried thyme
1 TB chopped fresh chervil
1/4 ts minced garlic
1 ts minced shallots

A good way to use Stale bread, these bread crumbs can
be stored in the freezer.
