hey guys sorry i know this sounds odd but , i am reduceing my intake but theres not to much healthy food here , i have pleanty of tuna and oatmeal
and eas shakes here ,but most of the food i have avaliblt isnt healthy
its like trying to find healthy diet in a stop n go ,or 7/11

what i have been doing is eating a bowl of oatmeal for breaskfast
tuna 3 or four times a day and a small meal for dinner (salids or fruit ) ,i am afraid that the
things i eat like this will cause my body to go into starvation mode

any other foods are fatty fried or allways with gravey or soaked in grease

ewhere i am at the foods are manly for someone thats out for aday or 2 and have to use mre or ready made meals

I am not an expert in any way, but I would assume that you are deployed somewhere and are currently getting your food from a field base. The only thing I can suggest since I don't know what is available to you is to find out what you are taking in through the MREs and ready mades (military often has to just take what they can get) and add in whatever it is you appear to be missing whether it is extra protein or whatever.

I would only reccommend reducing your intake in a combat zone if it won't affect your awarness or tiredness. I have never been in the military but in that sort of situation I feel comfort (and at least minimum nutrition, even if some extra carbs or fat is involved) is vastly more important than calorie counting. Personally, switching what I eat has a huge effect on how I feel and react throughout the day (different for others though).

I am pretty new here and just beginning my "adventure" but I would feel like a horrible person if I didn't post my opinion on this one.
