Vascularity has a lot to do with genetics and training. Long-term steroid use will strongly effect this as well. All steroids, not just equipoise, attach to AR receptors in the kidneys and stimulate increased red blood cell production. This increases blood volume, blood viscosity and blood pressure.......and really brings out the vascularity.
Of course, vascularity won't show unless you keep your BF % low.
This is where GH becomes valuable, especially for older guys. Somewhere in my 40's, I found it increasingly difficult to maintain mass and still stay lean. HGH made a huge difference for me. My skin became tighter, thinner, and more elastic. And I have no problem staying at 7 or 8% BF while weighing 245 at 5'11. Virtually impossible without the right hormones at my age.
So, you young guys who think life ends at 40 for bodybuilder's.....I'm here as proof.......it ain't so.
