Hi all ,
I am new here…… loving this forum …… and was hoping for some help pleeeeeeease.
I have a few questions and advise would be most appreciated ….
I’ve had my first baby 6 months ago. I’ve stopped breast feeding about 3 weeks ago and now very serious about getting my body back.

Current SAD Situation:
I am 36y/old
169cm
68kg
BF- 24.8%...(yuk )

Short Term Goal :
12 weeks
would like to get BF to 13%
is it realistic ? if so , any ideas/plans would be most appreciated .

Long Term Goal:
12 month
Become a fitness Model and enter a comp - Fitness division .

I started weight training 4 days a week and cardio walking for 40 min on 2 other days. One day rest.
I am new to weights as I use to do a lot of functional and stability training…. So I am weights beginner but not so bad that I have to use pink weights…. lol

My diet is okish …. Paleo mostly but I have some dairy. My issues are treats (dark choc …. Yum)
minimum of 5 meals a day… all containing about 100g of protein, 1.5 cup of veg with organic butter and salt, 2 meals out of 5 will contain 50g of sweet potato.
Handful of activated nuts ( almonds, cashew , hazel nuts)
I do not eat any processed food ( accept choc on my cheat treat meal)
I eat all organic veg and non-farmed fish.
All fats and meat form pasture fed , organic animals.
I do have 2-3 glasses of red wine once a week ( with treat meal )
My treat meal will still low carb , meat or fish but might have souse and will have wine and desert after.
2 litters of water a day
2 skim milk coffees a day ( half of brown sugar in each)
6-7 hours sleep a night
30 min meditation daily

Suppliments:
B-(1 tab), C-(2 tabs), D-(1 tab), Zinc-(1-tab) , Selenosol drops-(20drops), EPA/DHA (6 caps), cod liver/butter mix (1 teaspoon morning)

I am wondering regarding low carb diet, is it true that long term is bad for thyroid. How long is long ? and if so , what are carb suggestions and timings ?
I was thinking to get Forged Burner and some meal replacement shakes. Which are the best ?
and post- workout shakes please ?
Thank you all , sorry for the long post : )

I do not believe low carb is bad long term but it really depends on the person. What they have tried so far etc....

Can you do me a favor and plug you daily diet into www.fitday.com and see what the total calorie totals are as well as carbs grams of fat etc let me know the totals easier to work with.

HI Superqt : )

ok so i did my food log:

here it is :

total cal a day - 1,494 :(
Carbs - 78
fAt - 60
Protein - 114

thank you again , you are very kind for helping me : )

xx

I think the 12 week goal could be a little bit tough. As you get lower in body fat, it becomes harder to get it off. It's not impossible but you would have to do almost like a contest prep diet to get there, which would be significantly more strict then what you're doing. Your calorie level isn't bad at all and you could even increase it a couple hundred, with the addition of your training. You may find, you are more hungry and if you're new to weight training, you could take advantage of the "newbie gains" and build some good foundations for your future goals.
