Can someone help me out with a weightlifting schedule for a heavyweight (203 lbs.) amateur boxer? I can only lift twice a week (schedule permitting only 2 days a week) and I have to work my neck one of those days.

Any ideas?

Also is creatine good to take if you're a boxer?

C'mon fellas!

I have a really hard time beleiving that with all the guys on this board not a one has amateur boxing experience and can help me out creating a two day a week weight lifting program that would help me with boxing. Someone please atleast give me a sample workout.

PLEASE!!!

Depends what nights you box train. I'd say something like this.

Road work / cardio / skipping in the mornings.

Evenings:

Mon - Heavy Bag work/sparring

Tues - Chest, Back, arms, shoulders

Wed - Speed work, focus pads, combinations

Thurs - Legs (Quads, hams and calves)

Fri - Heavy bag work/sparring

Sat/Sun off or just cardio if you are training for a fight.

Don't go too heavy on the weights. Reps range from 10-20 reps and include stretching.
