Gosh! What a lotta squats!!

and my legs are looking and feeling rather nice

Would you consider posting some pics of your legs from a few different angles? I would be very interested to see the effect of this kind of high volume training.

Can you give me 4-8 more weeks? :) My idea of "nice" is a bit lower quality that the average pics you see on this board, and I wouldn't want to ruin my image by posting less than lovely pics, lol. I'm faaaaaaaaar from contest shape.

yea...it would be great to see some of you then! i am going to post mine but not until the end of the year, right now i am worrying about gaining mass, im not worried about the mirror...well not much anyway....(swallows another t-rex) lol

Yeah, I'm curious too.

I'll see how things go for pics - I've had experience of my diets not quite going how I plan, lol. In about 8 weeks I expect to be at a point that would be sane and reasonable to maintain, and which would be not too far from contest shape for it to be a crazy 6 month diet to get on stage (just a crazy 12 - 16 weeks instead ...)

Also, I'm doing my first ever OL comp on 16 August, so I will probably stop dieting for 2 weeks before that. My coach said it's just something to ... you know, get the idea, so what I'm doing with nutrition right now isn't so important.

JJ - how's the bulking plan going?

It seems to be going well; my strength is increasing very nicely, and my muscle bodies have definitely all filled back out - my PLer told me my arms look bigger than his. :-) Bodyfat is up around 12%, and I still have lower body definition, but I seem to be constantly retaining water. It's just taking my body a while to get used to eating carbs on a daily basis again. :-) I think you had the same problem when you went back to "normal" eating - does the water retention ever end?

The hardest part is getting all that food in; I keep forgetting to buy PB to help add in some kcals...oh, and I look pregnant by the end of the day after eating veggies all day. I'm lovin' those red, yellow, and orange peppers though - think I'll go munch on some more of them. :-)

Cool - your first OL comp! You'll have to let us know all about it; I've never gotten to see one, so I'll be living vicariously through you.

Steele I was just kidding! Although at times I have felt like I was falling over backwards from pulling the wt off the floor. There have been moments......when I thought that would happen! And of course there are times when I think I'll get stapled to the floor by the wt on my back. Really try not to have that happen.

Drink? Who me? Nah..
