Have you done a "search" for what you are looking for? If not, start there and do a "search". There is TONS of information available and I am fairly certain you will find what you are looking for. I know I have. Good luck! :)

RE:

I Have three words for you...

BODY FOR LIFE

Its the best program available. It combines a full nutriton and training plan to help cut the fat and build muscle. Here's a short outline on the program.

1. It consists of training and exercising for six days a week, for the 12 Weeks (84 Days). On the Seventh day you have a 'cheat' day and eat whatever you like and dont need to train.

2. The nutrition consists of eating six small meals a day consisting of a potion of protein and a portion of carbohydrates at each meal (portion being the size of your palm of clenched fist)

3. The training consists of 2 WEIGHT DAYS, and Two CARDIO days. EG. Day one: Upper Body (SHoulders, back, biceps, triceps and chest), Day 2: 20 Min Cardio, Day 3: Lower Body (Calves, Quads, Hams and Abs), Day 4: Cardio, Day 5: Upper Body again, Day 6: Cardio, Day 7: FREE

Its realy great Ive done it and am starting another challenge on the 1st September again

if you want more info, Ill be glad to help or you can visit eas's site at www.eas.com or the offical Body For Life Site .

Its a great program, if followed correctly you will loose weight. I remember six weeks (half way) through my first challenge I lost 5KG and about 6.5% body fat, My muscles were showing and I felt great (still do) and FYI i knew nothing about fitness or nutriton but now Ive learnt how my body works!!!

Hey Drjus-- above you have gotten 3 of the best suggestions you can get from the ladies here. Apply, educate, determine the plan & go. Adjust as needed. For a newbie, the BFL approach is good because its mostly common sense, gives room for variety & doesnt' require hundreds of hours of lifting & cardio. The biggest challenge to someone new to serious dieting & training is fitting the changes into their lifestyle w/o panicking or getting confused by all the myths about food, etc.
