GG's.. Running away from old age log....

Thanks guys..it was great....My only problem that I have to work through is the nervous stomach that makes me want to barf/poop (lol) my first mile...and then I am sick all day long after the race from nerves. This is my only realy issue. Now the hubby says the more I race the sooner it will go away becasue I will be used to how the racing works. Im sure there is some truth to that. Each race I try to take something and learn from it.....This time it was my nerves. I have to work on this...I did visualize the race this week and that did seem to help and knowing how it works made a huge difference also..

Well done!

Nerves are good, it is the edrenaline rush that makes you sick.

This is likely to continue, but you will feel less sick as your body adjusts to the rush. Also with running this can upset your insides, many marathon runners have upset stomachs for a couple of days after - due to all that bouncing up and down ;)

Eating only makes it worse.....Im going just keep doing them until they are somewhat natural I guess and hope it gets a little better....

September 19th

Goal today is to pick a few more races for the end of the year.
To get outside when the rain stops and run
Get diet and training changed around to meet new goals

Great job on your race, GG! A 1:37 cut in time is fantastic!

So what are your new diet and training goals?

Am I reading that you have a triathlon in 20 days? :)
