Jen....I can't drink water because my nerves make me have to pee every 10 min lol...but I drink a ton the week before which they say makes a big difference....
You should always drink - even if its just sips. You will find when you start running the urge to pee will subside.
 
Sept 20th....Morning morning....

Ran 3.7 miles this am and swam 1 hour and rode the bike 3 miles becasue I talked to Duck to long lolol....Blame it on Duck...sounds good lolol
 
Nerves are a tough one. Most relaxation techniques require you to be relaxing physically, really all your left with is deep breathing, and guided imagery. Maybe if you picture yourself calm, you will be calmer or fixate on your breathing.

Regardless congrats on your personal best, and good luck to your upcoming comp!

**Rode 45 min after dinner last night** so the Duck excuse won't work lol

I was waiting for you to see that one lololol....morning!! Feeling kinda sick this am...little cold or something...yuck
 
5k run, 10 mile bike, 1/2 mile swim...........I suck at the swiming....taking lessons right now to help me improve....
 
Sept 21...

Ran 3.8 miles and did striders to work on speed....Man my legs feel like they are going to fall off.....that was hard work.....
