Some kid that asked me for a spot on his last set, I asked if he wanted to do a drop set: "No I'm not doing drop sets today, I'm not really trying to loose fat right now..."
Some trainer: "protein is overrated, you really don't need more that .5g/lb of body weight per day--that's at the absolute most."
Different trainer: "there's really no reason to do calf work, they are the only muscle on your body that's completely predetermined by genetics so there's nothing you can do to improve them..."
Some kid to another kid doing "squats": "Dude, you gotta stay on your toes through the whole rep, otherwise you can't do enough weight to really grow plus your calfs won't develop either."
