forearm injury

I was doing heavy deadlifts and db rows yesterday and my grip on my right arm gave out. Right now I cant even squeeze my hand into a fist. Feels like I pulled a muscle in my forearm.

Anyone else ever feel this?

If you were doing rows, it's likely you actually strained your bicep tendon. I did the same thing a while back and you will feel that in your forearm as much or moreso than in your bi.

I think it's worth your time to get it checked out by a doc.

Biceps strain (for me anyway) tends to radiate up to your shoulder. got any mild shoulder pain? I'm guessing since your grip is messed up that it's not in the biceps, but the forearm.

I'm thinking more of where the bicep connects to the tendon at the elbow. The bicep is more responsible for twisting the forearem than the actual forearm muscles are. That pain will manifest itself in the forearm moreso than in the bicep, at least when the arm is at rest. Where you'll really feel it though is if you try to do a simple curl. You'll feel that pretty much from your mid bi all the way down to your wrist.
