First meal of the day - whats your's ?

First thing in the morning we are in a catabolic state...

So whats the first meal of the day for you ?

for me its either : 2 scoops of whey
Banana
half cup of oats


or


4 whole eggs
1 cup OJ
half cup of oats
 
It depends for me. My typical breakfast is six whole omega eggs fried or scrambled, Ezekiel toast or cereal in whole milk, and some fruit. Usually grapefruit or a navel orange.

When I'm running late or have no appetite I'll have a six egg omlet with ham/steak and cheese.
 
I eat the same thing every morning...

1/4 cup steel cut oats
1 tbsp ground flax seed
8 egg whites

and usually flavor it with Davinci's caramel or english toffee syrup...all mixed in together!
 
a blender full of protein shakes (vanilla) with 6 raw eggs,along with a piece of fruit
 
It depends but usually,
3-6 whole eggs, 1pc multigrain toast synth butter...
8-12 oz 2% milk with geliten and 1Tsp natty penutbutter stirred in and low fat yogurt.

wtf? Idk how im gonna keep up with u guys when im older. Seems like making eggs in the morning for breakfast is the ultimate feat to conquer...im too fuckin lazy to make breakfast in the morning. Actually im on cycle and i havent had one whey protein shake in 4 months lol

I usually just have a lrge glass ofmilk and a cereal bar lol

YOU LAZY PUSS!!! I expect more from you dude. Breakfast is the key to a good day of training and fat loss. trust me. Oats and protein and a little peanut butter is money!!!
 
I usually make mine the night before and just nuke it in the morning when I get to work. Saves me time since I'm definitely NOT a morning person! I have found that if I blow it on breakfast, my whole day of eating ends up messed up and I'll feel it in the gym that night.

I blend the following and drink it for breafast, takes 5 minutes to prepare!!

250ml skim milk
Pasturised egg whites (equivilant to 8)
scoop of whey protein
tablespoon natty peanut butter
1 cup of oats
1 banana
handfull of mixed berries

Its a bit thick but tastes nice.
 
LOL...there's a novel idea! I like the steel cut and honestly just never though about nuking them!! Duh!

Step 1: Grab cereal bowl
Step 2: Pour 1/2 cup of oats in bowl
Step 3: add water
Step 4: Nuke for 1:30
Step 5: Add protein and PB
Step 6: Eat and be merry.
 
Must have a little variety so I have three standard meals to choose from:
1. 1 egg and 2 egg whites.
1/2 cup of oatmeal
scoop of protein powder
add a little skim milk
mix together and make into a pancake. Put a little sugar free syrup on it.

2. 1/2-1 cup of low-fat granola cereal mixed with one cup of plain vanilla yogurt and add blueberries. (can add protein powder as well).

3. 1 cup of skim milk, 1 scoop of protein powder, one spoon of natural peanut butter and a handfull of frozen blueberries.

Immediately on waking up (typically at sunrise): 1 cup of non-cholesterol Egg Beaters (equiv. appx 4 eggs), 1/2 cup REGULAR oat meal (about 1 cup after cooking) with a tablespoon of natural honey and cinnamon, and either an apple or a half cup of unsweetened apple sauce.

1 cup UNCOOKED oats with 250ml low fat milk(not that bad and easier to eat lighter on the stomach)
fruit in oats( berries/whatever there is)

So....just for the sake of discussion....what about all those intermittant fasters out there who don't start eating until later in the day? Any thoughts on that? Has anyone tried it?

I tried about an 8 week period of it, just as an experiment. Bumped everything back to eating in a 10 hour window, starting later in the day. While some people really swear by it for getting lean and staying lean, I'm not sure it made a huge difference for me. Maybe I didn't give it long enough but still really felt like it came down to actual calories/ macros, for me anyway. :)

Um sometimes when I go and workout in the morning I don't pay attention to the time, and when I leave it's like 10:30am....so when I get back it's 12 in the afternoon before I have my first meal. It really doesn't make a difference for me...cause I'm a late eater. I usually kill my last meal at like 12:00am. So yeah....

You better love me:)
 
3 whole eggs. Used to eat more eggs, but my LDL cholesterol got too high.
1/3 of a cup (before cooking) steel cut oats.
1 scoop Carnivor beef protein which contains 2.5g of creatine per scoop.

Today,,STEAK,,EGGS,,HASBROWNS and some TOAST.
 
I have a cup of 2% milk with coffee at 8 am, 9.30 i have 1 cup of oats with 2 sccops of whey, around 11 4 egg whites and 12.30 i have tuna in water. 1.15 i hit the gym!!!!!! what do you think?
 
yesterday 1 tbsp Power PB on 2 slices whole wheat... today a lean pocket because I forgot I volunteered for OT and hit the snooze too many times so needed something I could fix at work and it was the first thing I saw as I was flying out of the house.
 
My first meal of the day is:

Cup of coffee at 8am.

Then at 9:30-10:00am-
4-5 whole eggs (scrambled)
Ham cut up small peices mixed in
Cheese melted all over it
Glass of OJ

So good with the ham mixed in.
 
I used to have 1 dozen eggs and 2 cups of oj, with 4 cups of either oatmeal or malto meal for breakfast, now I just have 2 eggs cooked, 2-3 sausage links (small ones) and 3-4 strips of bacon with 2 tablespoons of a mixture of olive/grapeseed/walnut/almond/hazelnut/ oil mixed in. After that meal, I'm stuffed for the next three hours.
 
Breakfast is the one meal I actually put time in to.

5 eggs (2 yolks)
1/4 chorizo or sausage
1 cup of chopped spinach
1/2 to 3/4 of a red, yellow, or orange pepper (usually a combination)
1/2 a jalapeno
1/2 an avocado
3/4 cup of kidney beans
Glass of milk (16 oz)

i throw the peppers, spinach, and meat into the pan and cook until done then pour the eggs on top. Cook the beans in a bowl for 45 seconds to a minute in the microwave, then scoop out the egg concoction and put it on the beans, slice up avocado and put it on and done. A lot of the time I put some hot sauce on it for added flavor. Freakin delicious!
