Fiber = Free Food?

Fiber!

Fiber tolerance takes a bit to build up, but it definitely is something to go for.

For the past couple days, I've had two cups of All-Bran cereal for breakfast. Doesn't sound like much, I know, but the label says a typical serving is 1/3 cup, and that contains 14g fiber!

84 grams for breakfast! That's like.. 28 apples worth of fiber :D

I work with a few very reputable dieticians/md's, all of who advise against supplementing with concentrated non naturally occuring fiber sources. If you are getting your RDA of carbs from complex/whole wheat sources, you should have no problem getting enough fiber... On CKD, I like using celery and very small doses of psyllium, simply because there aren't many other ways to get fiber without any net carbs. Legumes are god.
