that you know how many calories you are eating a day even if you have been at this awhile UNLESS YOU MEASURE IT!!! Seems the eyesight goes bad after a bit. My body hasn't been responding the way that I thought that it should so today I decided it was time to start measuring things again. It added up to a whopping 1490 calories!! Guess I won't be bitching at anyone for not eating enough for a few days at least...

I think I ate what you consume in a day... whilest I was sitting at my computer chatting with someone last night!

Ok, OK a Hersey's symphony bar isn't EXACTLY a proper substitute for eggs and oatmeal - LOL!

EAT YOU! :mad:

Hehehehehehehhaehaoehoaheohaehoahaa

I have a girlfriend that bitches all the time that she all but wastes her cycles because she doesn't eat enough! Don't be a freaking dork like her!

1490 calories? That doesn't seem like much for you. How can a seasoned BB like yourself eat so few calories? How tall are you, and what do you weigh?

I know everyone is different, but I'd sure like to know why 1490 calories is too much for you, if you wouldn't mind sharing. (I've been going through a bit of a calorie crisis myself--too many or too few?) Because someone suggested that i eat 1600 calories a day, and I'm only 5'2" and a whopping 20% BF!

EQ - 1490 is not enough calories for me, at least not for an extended amount of time and definitely not when I am trying to gain some muscle. The plan is 6 more weeks of adding lean mass and then switch to cutting. I need to be eating 2000-2500 cals. For a very long time I measured ever bite of food that went in my mouth but got cocky thinking that I knew what 2000 calories looked like so I could just eyeball it. Things were perking along just fine, was adding lean mass and dropping a bit of fat at the same time. I got busy and had the flu, basically got lazy and quit measureing. Gradually my body stalled out over the course of about 3- 4 weeks so I decided it had to be in the food. When I measured what I was eating I found that my portions were way too small and hence the calories were way too few. So I'll be measuring every bite from here on out.
The only thing I got right is I pretty much nailed the 40/40/20.

BK double cheese burger :: 580 cals / 36g fat / 38g pro / 32g carbs

BK whopper w/ cheese :: 760 cals / 48g fat / 35g pro / 47g carbs

pretty close :: 1340 cals

got it from my cheat day list :D
