Dirty~D~'s journey to recovery - first 90 days

Dirty D that is awesome I am so glad you got things figured out and now your kicking ass in the gym again! I should have known you were a powerlifter! I look forward to hearing about your progress and 15lbs of muscle in 3 months is incredible! Keep it up D.

Thanks BB. My natural weight used to hover around 130. When I was lifting it was 142. 15lbs may seem like a lot, but I tend to set hard goals for myself; rarely have I had failed. And if I don't meet it, all the more reason to keep trying. :)

5'5" flat. I've never competed, but I came close when I was 20; a bad hip injury took me out of the game for a while. By the time I was recovered from that I didn't have the time to dedicate to it anymore. :(

Hows the legs feeling to day D ,its great you have keep motivated after your set backs it shows your inner strenght ,so IMO you have set so very hard goals for yourself but were all here to help you reach them , victory is best celebrated with friends .

How many cals you going for at 5,5 ?

The legs felt great today... no fatigue or stiffness.

The calories: I would love to be at 4000 a day, but I think the best I can do is 3200-3500. If I could have my own fridge in my office at work the 4000 could be attainable... given that they don't suck me into anymore 5 hour meetings. :worried:

How was that back workout today? I was lazy and didn't even go to the gym!

The back is solid. The pull downs were a little rough since my back is a lot stronger than my grip strength can support.... for now.

I'll be posting my complete progress at the end of the week. :)

Cool I worked back really hard and did a few lifts I hadn't done in years and I'm still a little sore. I look forward to hearing about your progress!
