Diet Is Messing With My Mind!!!

I'm starting week 6 of 20 of my cutting cycle and I feel that this dieting is messing with my mind. I feel completely scrawny and thin. I take my bodypart measurements every other day or so (I know, just paranoid) and My muscles measurements fluctuate 1/4-1/2 inch or so from time to time....but nothing drastic. Probably due to glycogen stores. This is my first time dieting so extreme.....but I feel small and scrawny even though the measurements don't say so. Does anyone else experience this messed up mind game while dieting on low carbs? Is there anything to do about it? It's not like the usual feeling small, but 100x worse!

Last cutting cycle I feld extrememly soft and small even though I didn't lose that much muscle mass. I think it is just a direct affect of the decrease in calories causing the brain to react. I have nothing to back that up, just a thought.

Your muscles will tend to get 'flat' while on a low-carb diet. Not much you can do about it...just rest assured that all it takes to get the muscles back to normal size is a couple of days back on regular meals. Try not to use the tape measure for awhile, as it'll only depress you further.

cutting isnt pleasant..
but keep it up and the results will surely be rewarding!

The tape measure is comforting at times.....makes me see that I'm really not loosing that much muscle. But at othertimes it can be deceiving if I go down a 1/4 inch I get paranoid! I think I'm going to bury it for 6 weeks or so.

Yes I fucking hate cutting for that reason.

Solution: try not to ever again put on so much fat that you really need to "cut" for a long time. Having the extra fat also gives one the impression of greater size, but you have to remember that even if the fat is on your arms and it makes it look bigger, it is still fat in the end.

Keep on pushing man.
