Did you know

Oh cry me a fricking river man!

We like what we do
and it's hard work and damn sight more healthy than being fat

I'll have my no diet day on my next cheat day though :D

One of my co-workers thought it was absurd that an airline would charge an obese person for an additional ticket if they were deemed "too fat for just one seat." I just don't think it's fair to be the person next to them...being infringed upon...spilling over into my seat! If I paid for one seat, that's all I should get!

BTW, she has since lost about 50 pounds (the Subway diet) and has come to the realization that she won't lose much more without exercise! Yaay for her for seeing the light!

Staying on topic though, diet has such a negative connotation to it...I prefer to say meal plan because that is just what it is! Your "diet" is what you eat, not just neccesarily a "strict eating regimen."

...just read this shit:

"Unfortunately, Steadham says, many doctors neither acknowledge that it is possible to be "fit and fat," nor that for most overweight people, keeping weight off long-term is often a losing battle."

...fit and fat! WTF! Maybe it's possible, but I think it's better (for me) to be fit and healthy! Sheeesh!

yeah i think these peoples notion of diet is to deprive your body of food like the stupid diets like vabbage soup or slimfast

if anything the american/western diet should be outlawed

most of us guys here will eat a great balanced diet of healthy foods and we get all th nutrients we need.

The people who get messed up by diets do so because they dont know what they are doing or read into too many tabloid magazines and get miss informed wherelse athletes tend to have more going for them research wise

nah, being obese is just fine....

never mind Heart Disease, Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, High Cholesterol, joint problems, sleep problems, blah blah blah.....not to mention not being able to see your own feet, or fit through a door....lol

I swear if someone said to my face that being obese can be healthy, I would stuff a twinky in their mouth and drop kick them in the face......

:lmao: I noticed there was another link that talked about how being obese isn't all your fault...the people who make the fast food--it's their fault! They are even attempting to sue them...what a joke! I know I am to blame if I pack on the pounds. After all, I actually feed myself.

ational Association to Advance Fat Acceptance

they also have a website for everything...

INSIDE THE NFL did a specail on O-Lineman, if there is a definition of FIT FAT that is it, some of these guys are over 315 pounds and can play 4 solid quarters of football... NOT TOO HEALTHY THOUGH. one guy from the saints would regularly eat 40 or so buffallo wings in one sitting. His buffalo wings where almost the size of regular chicken wings - AMAZING

no its not fasy foods fault people just dont have any will power but i will agree with you that some people cant help it because it might be genetics or their metabolism isnt fast enough!

i work at paneras and the one sandwich there is almost 1000 cals!!! i had a guy come over and order 2 and a salad and it was all for him, thats 2500 cals in one sitting, at 8 o'clock at night, no wonder his stomach almost hit me from over the register. yeesh. those are the people i have no pity for. I work my ass off, they should too!
