Deadlifting my way to Happiness - Al420's log

I think what will help here is not only a deload plan but an attitude adjustment. If you think drag, boring, this isnt heavy, fun, my thing, etc you are automatically setting yourself for a shitty workout before you even start.

lol I got nuttin but :heart: for al.. just want him to make the best out of each point in his training, b/c EVERY break does have a valid reason behind it and if the mind isn't there, well you know how that goes... with that said... *insert smart ass comment here*

First off, you made some great progress.....

Think of deloading as a good thing. Really, there is no wrong way to do it. You can up intensity and drop volume.....or you can train lighter, around 80-90%.....If your bench is 245, then work with 205 in the 3-5 range, stuff like that....dropping DLs is a good idea too.

Thanks bro - I feel like I owe some thanks to you for all the training info/support. If you ever make it down to Texas we will have to catch a Longhorn game and eat some REAL BBQ.
