Yes, true, 2hrs before depletion workout have a couple of fruits, in order, to kick you out of Ketosis. Thus, muscle glycogen is completely burned off and the muscle glycogen receptors open up to sustain a good carb-up.
I do not consider this a mendatory method, that is why I don't talk about it much. I've had exactly the same results when not using the fruits prior to depletion-workout. i guess it goes different for all people...I recommend you give it a try and see how it works for you.
